AMPC 4: Ethical Practice in the Mortgage Industry

This course, divided into four sections, covers the topics and ethics and professionalism in the mortgage industry. The course begins with a look at the guiding values of the mortgage industry, and why these values are crucial to the overall integrity of the profession. The course then examines the concept of ethical dilemmas, and the process that a professional can employ to resolve them. Also discussed is the relationship between ethics and trust. The course concludes with a discussion of the consequences of unethical behavior with an examination of a number of real life cases of unethical behaviour in the mortgage industry.
