Mortgage Professionals Canada’s 2024 Saskatchewan Continuing Education Course for Mortgage Brokers and Associates is offered online in HTML format. For the best user experience, a desktop or laptop computer is recommended. Information is presented in modules allowing you to progress at your own pace, whether in one sitting, or a section at a time. The course (approx. 4 hours) includes interactive activities and knowledge check questions to help you remember what you’ve learned.
The 2024 Saskatchewan Continuing Education Course for Mortgage Brokers and Associates, approved by the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority (FCAA) includes 2 modules.
Module 1 focuses on disclosures, covering the requirements outlined in The Mortgage Brokerages and Mortgage Administrators Act. It equips brokers and associates with the necessary understanding and rationale behind disclosure mandates.
Module 2 addresses fraud prevention, stressing the pivotal role mortgage professionals play in detecting and preventing fraudulent activities. Upon completion, participants demonstrate compliance with disclosure regulations and proficiency in implementing fraud prevention measures in their daily operations.

This course is intended for both Broker and Associate licence holders.
Reminder: You are encouraged to ensure you can access your licence information in FCAA’s Registration and Licensing System (RLS). You should access RLS as soon as possible, as you will use RLS to make your annual filing and pay your annual fee. The filing and fee can be made any time between June 1 and June 30, 2024.
