One examination rewrite is permitted. You must complete the rewrite within 6 months of receiving your examination result. If you are unsuccessful on the rewrite, you must re-enrol in the course to continue your studies.
Examination fees depend on the delivery method selected. The current course information lists a fee of $75 for an online examination and $100 for an in-person examination.
Online access is available immediately after registration. Students who select the E-Text option can access the electronic textbook through the online course or through the link provided in their emailed registration receipt.

In addition to completing the approved education program, applicants must meet FCNB’s licensing requirements. These include being at least 19 years old, being a resident of Canada, being authorized by a mortgage brokerage and meeting the applicable suitability requirements.

The New Brunswick Mortgage Broker Education Program is designed around the FCNB-mandated Qualifying Standards for Mortgage Brokers and focuses on the advanced knowledge and practical skills required to supervise mortgage associates and manage a compliant mortgage brokerage.
