The Manitoba Mortgage Salesperson Course is delivered in an online format and is based on the 6th edition textbook Introduction to the Canadian Mortgage Industry. *Students must have a financial calculator to complete this course.
This course covers all the key mortgage broker topics, skills and knowledge necessary for you to successfully enter the industry as a mortgage salesperson. The salesperson course is roughly 40 hours online with a final in-person examination. Exam rewrites are available for those students who require it. Once you've passed the final exam, you will be eligible to join a mortgage brokerage. Your brokerage will be the one to submit your licensing application to the Manitoba Securities Commission (MSC).
