Early bird pricing is available now for the National Mortgage Conference, but not for long.
Mortgage professionals in Alberta are regulated by the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA). To enter the mortgage industry, you must meet RECA’s eligibility requirements, complete the required pre-licensing education and successfully complete the applicable licensing examination.
Alberta’s required mortgage brokerage pre-licensing education is delivered through the Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association (AMBA). Mortgage Professionals Canada does not administer the Alberta licensing courses.
Alberta applicants must first meet RECA’s eligibility requirements. These include minimum age, education, identification, the ability to lawfully study and work in Canada and English language proficiency requirements.
Depending on your circumstances, RECA may also require a Suitability Review Application or direct you through its labour mobility process.
