Provincial MPC Advocacy Achievements

Recent policy wins include:

  • Ontario’s removal of the provincial portion of the HST on new homes for first-time buyers.
  • British Columbia’s update to PTT exemptions to reduce or eliminate taxes for eligible buyers, up to $1.1 million for newly built homes, and up to $835,000 for existing homes with a partial exemption available up to $860,000.
