Upon successfully completing all courses within a program, you'll earn a digital badge recognizing your achievement and commitment to ongoing professional development. Eligible courses may also qualify for Continuing Education (CE) or Professional Development (PD) credits where applicable.

You'll have up to six months to complete each course, allowing you to progress at your own pace and fit learning around your professional and personal commitments. Each micro-credential is made up of several short courses. The total completion time varies by topic and is listed on the individual micro-credential page.
Yes. Once you register for a micro-credentialing program, you have 6 months to complete all required courses within that program.
Some micro-credentials qualify for CE or PD hours. Eligibility varies by program and province. Each micro-credential page will indicate whether it is approved for Ontario or Québec continuing education requirements.
You'll automatically receive your MPC Pro Series badge after successfully completing all required courses within a micro-credentialing program.
Yes. Courses are designed to build on one another, so they should be completed in the order presented.
Yes. You can take individual courses to build your knowledge. However, you must successfully complete every required course in a program to earn the MPC Pro Series badge.
All courses are self-paced and completed online, allowing you to learn whenever it is convenient for you.
Most courses include a knowledge check or assessment. Any completion requirements are outlined in the course description.
If a micro-credential has an expiry date, it will be clearly indicated on the program page and reflected on your badge. If no expiry is listed, the badge does not expire.
Simply select the micro-credential you're interested in and register online through the MPC website. Once enrolled, you'll have immediate access to begin learning via your My Activities page.
If you completed a course before April 1, 2024, you will need to complete it again as part of your chosen micro-credential program. The course content has been significantly updated since that time to reflect the latest industry knowledge and learning outcomes.
If you completed the course on or after April 1, 2024, your previous completion will count toward your micro-credential, and you will not need to retake the course.
