From inventive ideas on networking, planning for a post pandemic future and an informative housing update, the 2021 Virtual Mortgage Symposium was a must-attend event. Everything You Should Know About Prepayment Charges - Part 2

Matt joins us for a second instalment of Prepayment Charges, and will include:
• A deep dive into a 5-year mortgage term to how the exact dates and how the prepayment charge would change over time - with rates staying the same, going up or going down
• How the mortgage balance impacts the penalty, the remaining term, the posted rate that is assigned to the mortgage, and the closest comparable posted rates
• What brokers should ask their lenders - so that they have all the information they need to better understand the prepayment charges

If you missed the first part of Matt’s presentation at our Spring Virtual Mortgage Symposium held this past April, you can access it on the PheedLoop platform for on demand viewing once you have registered for this event.
